Hall Family Farm is a 4th generation family farm conveniently located in the Ballantyne Area 2 miles south of I-485. We offer pick-your-own or pre-picked strawberries in the spring and seasonal vegetables in the summer, and pumpkins and a corn maze in the fall. Seasonal vegetables are sold pre-picked in our sales tent.

An outing to a U-pick farm can be a great tradition for kids. Freedom Acres Farm is a 5.5 acre farm that grows u-pick flowers, various heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, assorted squash, and a large assortment of peppers sweet and hot. We grow pesticide free vegetables from non-gmo seeds. We keep a list, year-round, of farms where you can pick your own produce, and that list is below. We are a small, family operated Grade A Raw Goat Dairy. We are regulated by the SC DHEC Dairy Division.

Blueberry picking begins the first week of July and will normally continue for about 4 weeks. The sun is shining, and temps are warm which makes us want to head out for one of our favorite spring activities, U-picking produce. The centerpiece of the family property is the Farmhouse, which was built in 1908 using recycled materials from Charlotte's turn-of-the-century renovations. Multiple barns and buildings, plus extensive pastures and fresh crops flank the home.
Our goats are milk twice daily, fed a nutritious diet of grain, barley, oats, alfalfa and sunflower seeds. Then they are allowed to free-browse all day in our woodlands. Our milk is hormone and antibiotic-free. At Flynns Farm, it's our mission to bring you the best tasting and the best quality products made locally in Concord NC.
We stand by our products, if we would not eat them, we don't expect you to. We are a family operated farm that has been providing produce to Huntersville and the Lake Norman community for over a decade. Our farm has been in operation for over seventy-years, passed down through three generations of farmers. You can find our produce at our business, The Old Store, which is just across the street from the farm.
We practice responsible and sustainable growing methods and treat our animals kindly. You can find us at the Cotswold Farmers Market on Saturdays May-October. We accept private orders as well.
